A bit about me

“An entire city of books? Where do I start?”

The first time I thought about writing as a career, I was thirteen years old, and I decided that a great way to spend my life as an adult would be writing for young teens. It’s a tough age, and I was as awkward as they come, but I loved to read and was inspired by authors such as Judy Blume, Ellen Conford, and Francine Pascal. Kids need good books, so why couldn’t it be my books someday that they were reading?

Flash forward a number of years, and I still feel the same way. I love crafting colorful characters and funny stories for kids to read. I was a theatre major in college, and entertaining people by making them laugh is still one of my greatest joys in life.

My husband Mark and I live in a suburb of Atlanta, and when we’re not working, we enjoy traveling. We’ve been on many interesting trips, including a hiking trip in Italy’s Amalfi Coast, a cruise on a 25-cabin motor sailer around the Cyclades, and fantasy honeymoon in French Polynesia.

I’m currently seeking representation.
